Partnership Projects
Partly originating from each volunteer’s interest, PYEN forges partnership projects with different youth employment advocates.
SAGE
The Students for the Advancement of Global Entrepreneurship (SAGE) is a business contest among high school students started by Dr. Curtis DeBerg of California State University – Chico. It aims to advance youth entrepreneurship and community-service around the world, emphasizing ethical business practices and integrating social responsibility, civic engagement and environmental awareness.
In 2004, the Philippines won the Global SAGE Competition.
CYEP
The Community-based Youth Entrepreneurship Program (CYEP) is both a Youth Multiversity and a Partnership Project. CYEP is composed on entrepreneurship and business planning training, mentorship and assistance to accessing microfinance. Despite the limited funds, four entrepreneurship trainings (Quezon City, Tondo, Taguig and Davao) were implemented between 2004 - 2006.
YOUTH HUB
The Youth Hub is a physical structure providing community-based ICT access to youth. Just like any telecenter, the youth hub provides internet and computer services and other facilities that can be utilized by the youth in pursuit of employment and entrepreneurship. The Youth Hub provides the venue where capacity-building trainings, micro-financing, and mentorship. In addition, the Youth Hub will engage youth into creating a skills database for job-matching purposes with available jobs through a partnership with PESO.
